With less than 100 days until Christmas, Australian parents are being warned to buy certain gifts now to combat shipping delays and a surge in demand. Channel Nine’s Today Show - hosted by Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon - recently spoke to some of Australia’s major retailers about which products they’re currently experiencing shortages of and whether shelves will be replenished in time for Christmas.

Reporter Sarah Stewart spoke to logistics expert Enrica Centorame, Managing Director of Global Forwarding Enrica Centorame, who warned once current stock levels sell out, some items may not be restocked until after Christmas, given many shipping lines are not taking any new bookings. Ms Centorame warned many goods won’t make it into the country until February or March 2022.
